This policy explains what personal information Geniuscribe LLC collects through geniuscribe.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to respond to you and to run the site.
Who we are
Geniuscribe LLC (“Geniuscribe”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Registered business address: Geniuscribe LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Email: [email protected].
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the project inquiry form, we receive your name, email address, and project description, and, if you provide them, your company name, the service you are interested in, your budget range, and your timeline. When you email us, we receive your message and the details it contains.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver and secure the site.
Spam protection on the inquiry form
The inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. Turnstile runs in your browser on the contact page and processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics. It does not receive the contents of the form. Our server checks the result with Cloudflare before your inquiry is forwarded.
Cookieless measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load (Core Web Vitals). Both are provided by our hosting provider, set no cookies, and report only aggregated figures such as the page, referrer, country, and device and browser type. Vercel Web Analytics tells repeat visits apart with a hash derived from the request that is discarded after a day; it does not identify you.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions such as clicking a link to the contact page or sending the inquiry form. We never send your name, email address, company, or message to Google Analytics; for a sent inquiry, it receives only the options you selected for service, budget range, and timeline. Google signals and advertising features are turned off. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.
How we use information
- To read and respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project with you.
- To operate, maintain, and protect the website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To measure how quickly pages load and how many visits they receive, without cookies.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, where you have consented to analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interests to respond to inquiries, to secure the website, and for cookieless performance and visit measurement, on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on your consent for analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the key geniuscribe-consent, so we do not ask again on every page.
Analytics. Only after you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID> to distinguish visits. If you later decline, we stop Google Analytics and delete these cookies.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights do not set cookies, so they run without a cookie choice.
You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share information only with providers that help us run the site and respond to you:
- Vercel, which hosts the website and provides cookieless visit and performance measurement.
- Formspree, which receives inquiry form submissions from our server after the spam check, filters spam, and forwards them to our inbox.
- Cloudflare, which provides the Turnstile check on the inquiry form.
- Our email hosting provider, which stores the messages we send and receive.
- Google, for analytics, only if you have consented.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights and the security of the site.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the business relationship and any legal record-keeping obligations. Server logs and analytics data are kept for limited periods set by our providers and our account settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of some US states, including California, have similar rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential information through the inquiry form.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. See also our Terms of Use.
